| 内容記述 | Plant material and results Flowering period of the plants in the herbaceous border at the Royal Horticultural Society's Garden at Wisley was observed. The observation was conducted every two weeks from 26th of July to 9th of November in 1993,and from 3rd of March to 12th of July in 1994. In Table 2,the months are placed in calendar order from March to November. Plant hight was measured at the time of full bloom. There was heavy frost for 4 successive days from 15th October in 1993. Most flowers were damaged by the frost. The mean monthly maximum and minnimum temperature in 1993 and 1994 is shown in Table 1. Scientific names of plants were confirmed by 「The RHS Plant Finder 1997-98,D. K.」 .
