Glessner. First, I will argue that the house was important in terms of its collaboration with the architect and client for making an ideal residence. Then, I will present how space in the House was actually negotiated between wife and husband, and boundaries were drawn between master and servants. The introduction of the Arts and Crafts Movement played a crucial role for the wife to use these spaces for her public purposes. Finally, I will show that during the 1930s and the 40s, Frances Glassner Lee, the daughter, made crime scene doll houses for police detective training. Her anger towerds domestic violence, and her strong desire to eradicate it, are represented inthe dolls as victims. Her construction of the doll houses, thus, was for from the ideals of her father. Examining the Glassner House presents a key for a deeper understanding of dynamism of social class and gender at the turn of century.","subitem_description_type":"Other"}]},"item_1_source_id_13":{"attribute_name":"雑誌書誌ID","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_source_identifier":"AA12120901","subitem_source_identifier_type":"NCID"}]},"item_files":{"attribute_name":"ファイル情報","attribute_type":"file","attribute_value_mlt":[{"accessrole":"open_date","date":[{"dateType":"Available","dateValue":"2015-06-30"}],"displaytype":"detail","filename":"4グレスナー邸にみる19世紀末アメリカの生活空間.pdf","filesize":[{"value":"1.3 MB"}],"format":"application/pdf","licensetype":"license_note","mimetype":"application/pdf","url":{"label":"グレスナー邸にみる19世紀末アメリカの生活空間","url":"https://keisen.repo.nii.ac.jp/record/863/files/4グレスナー邸にみる19世紀末アメリカの生活空間.pdf"},"version_id":"0db3a5b7-32ed-4fb4-803c-c76639f6c955"}]},"item_keyword":{"attribute_name":"キーワード","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_subject":"グレスナー邸","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"ヘンリー・ホブソン・リチャードソン","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"アーツ・アンド・クラフツ運動","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"フランセス・グレスナー・リー","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"The Glessner House","subitem_subject_language":"en","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"Henry Hobson Richardson","subitem_subject_language":"en","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"Arts and Crafts Movement","subitem_subject_language":"en","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"Frances Glessner Lee","subitem_subject_language":"en","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"}]},"item_language":{"attribute_name":"言語","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_language":"jpn"}]},"item_resource_type":{"attribute_name":"資源タイプ","attribute_value_mlt":[{"resourcetype":"departmental bulletin paper","resourceuri":"http://purl.org/coar/resource_type/c_6501"}]},"item_title":"グレスナ―邸にみる19世紀末アメリカの生活空間","item_titles":{"attribute_name":"タイトル","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_title":"グレスナ―邸にみる19世紀末アメリカの生活空間"},{"subitem_title":"The Glassner House : Negotiating Domestic Space at the Turn おfNineteenth Century America","subitem_title_language":"en"}]},"item_type_id":"1","owner":"13","path":["102"],"pubdate":{"attribute_name":"公開日","attribute_value":"2015-06-30"},"publish_date":"2015-06-30","publish_status":"0","recid":"863","relation_version_is_last":true,"title":["グレスナ―邸にみる19世紀末アメリカの生活空間"],"weko_creator_id":"13","weko_shared_id":-1},"updated":"2023-06-19T06:58:52.595244+00:00"}
